When I was growing up my family always put up the Christmas tree the weekend immediately following Thanksgiving. For many years my parents, my brother and I would load up in the car, usually with my PawPaw in tow, and drive to a Christmas tree farm to select the perfect specimen. This year Ryan and I spent the Saturday after Thanksgiving selecting and decorating our tree. We listened to holiday music, strung the lights on the tree, and hunted for the perfect spot on the tree for each ornament.
